I've enjoyed every book I've read by S.D. Gordon. His explanations are plain, and yet the truths he sets forth are profound. He has a great ability to show the reader how to be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer.
It should be the desire of every sincere ,Christian to grow in power with God and men. This book book will help you do that.
I preferred reading this a bit at a time, to think on it. Well worth the time. Simple truth well explained, thoughtful. The Christian life is not difficult to understand. I think the challenge is in spending the time and disciplining ourselves to be obedient to Christ in the strength He offers. It's a choice.
