I have all the books in this series and I must say they are great.

They get a little to technical at times but are such a great read.

Was introduced to Ingram and his pal Rhino in this one. Two guys who definetly know how to take care of themselves and others. Hope these two end up as part of Black Eagle.

Gotta love the Prez. She's the kind of Pres this country needs. Take the fight right up the ass of the aggressors and no ROE's. Do what needs to be done and the UN and anyone who doesn't like it can kiss her ass. Yup. The kind of POTUS this country needs big time.

Great story with Ingram in Africa and Mike, Mickey, Jill and Marie on that honeymoon cruise. Just to bad for the bad guys that the Black Eagle folks were on site. They sure threw a wrench in the bad guys monkey works.

Loads of action and I recommend this one to anyone who likes good guys who know how to get the job done. Great read.

Five stars all the way.

Black Eagle Force Blood Ivory edition by Buck Stienke Ken Farmer Doran Ingrham Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Good book.... Lots of spear Chucker's bight the dust....
I had bought the other Black Eagle Force books and found them to be an easy and fun read. Sort of like mind candy. This book follows the same path as the previous books and one can see the ending well before the end of the book. What really bummed me out was the definite anti-Muslim rhetoric that is scattered through out the book. I can handle the pro-conservative, pro-war statements and beliefs in the book, but it does get tiring.
My favorite book of the series. A continuation of the lives of the characters with the wedding and the subsequent drama on the honeymoon. Losing characters and replacing them with new ones keeps it from getting stale. Miss the ones departed but love this new guy. This one shows just how the animal poaching in Africa affects us all by driving these beautiful animals closer to extinction. Hope we humans wise up pretty soon. But this book has my vote for the best so far. Waiting for the next one in the series. Guys, no vactions, no stopping until it's done.
If you like a Political Military Action/Techno Thriller in the Clancy, Brown, Coonts style, then you will love this one. Mix elephant ivory, rhino horn and poachers together, you have a very bad scenario in place. Add in a U.S. Senator and his daughter, and their kidnapping, in Kenya, and the scenario goes from bad to worse. Bring in the Black Eagle Force, a top secret group of military types and a Kenyan Wildlife Service agent who also happens to be a former U.S. Marine, and all hell breaks loose. Read this one. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat enjoying every minute of this book...
By the second page of Blood Ivory I was hooked and as the storyline developed, I knew I was in for a good ride. Well thought out, fast paced, lots of action and enough technical information about aircraft, cars, weapons, weapon systems to make deadly encounters with the bad guys realistic. I felt the person writing the portion dealing with the tracking, ambush and dealing justice to the poachers knew what he was writing. He seemed to have an intimate knowledge of horses, tracking and man-hunting. That portion was my favorite part of the book but by no means did the rest of the book lack excitement. Overall I would give this book the highest rating and would highly recommended it to my friends - which I have.
After struggling through the first few pages the story line and plot started to move. This is a very nice reading novel that has some very doubtful events, in regards to victories for the "good guys". Some of the futuristic military equipment allows one with a vivid imagination to wonder if and when some of the technology will be available and in use. This book also accomplished a side victory for the author, if intended, in drawing awareness to the ugly and sad events of poaching Africa's wild animals for butchering for monetary gains. Being more of a "hawk" than a "dove" I enjoyed the guts of an American President to make tough decisions to "win at all costs", something we don't see from current day leaders.
This turned out to be a very exciting book. The lead character was KWS Ranger Mark Ingram. He was a former Marine sniper that now works for the government of Kenya. The first part of this thriller begins in the Indian Ocean. Somali Pirates and members of al-Quadi seize a cruise liner which happens to be carrying the son and step son of the President. The two sons have just gotten married and are on their honeymoon. The two couples belong to various branches of the military. The pirates have no idea the they have a rough crew on board. Senator Briebart and his daughter are going on a photographic safari. They happen on some Rhino poachers that they take pictures of. Black Eagle Force is called in to save the day. This is a paramilitary unit that is based in Denison, Texas. It's soldiers are made up of Marine Force Recon, Navy Seals,Green Berets and Army Rangers. When they spring into action they prove to be an awesome fighting force. This is an action packed book that you should not niss.
